Community standards

Respect for consent and boundaries is required.

These Community Standards identify the conduct required for SideOf's invitation-led adult beta. The public website and guided demonstration environment do not provide public member accounts. These standards supplement the terms and policies applicable to member use.

Adults only

You may not use SideOf if you are under 18 or assist another person in circumventing the age requirement.

Consent and personal boundaries

You may not pressure another person to share personal information, images, location, contact details, or private access. A decline, block, lack of response, changed mind, or stated boundary must be respected. Prior contact does not establish continuing consent.

Harassment, threats, and stalking

Threatening, repeatedly contacting, intimidating, shaming, targeting, following, surveilling, or attempting to expose another person's private information is prohibited.

Authenticity, fraud, and exploitation

You may not impersonate another person, use another person's images without permission, misrepresent material facts, solicit money through deception, or exploit a person who cannot or does not consent.

Separate private access

Private access is opt-in and is not a default entitlement arising from a social connection, dating match, prior interaction, or any other relationship.

Reports and enforcement

Once the beta report path is available, SideOf may review reported conduct, request information, restrict access, or take other action as appropriate under the applicable terms and policies. SideOf will use commercially reasonable efforts to conduct an initial assessment of straightforward reports within twenty-four (24) to seventy-two (72) hours. Matters requiring enhanced investigation, including allegations of serious misconduct or safety concerns, may require one (1) week or longer for review and disposition. These timeframes are service objectives only; they do not guarantee a particular outcome or enforcement action. If there is an immediate risk of harm, contact local emergency services.
